DIY _____THREAD AND BOTTLES

Here comes the DIY that I made with a thread. I´m going to have a party this summer in our garden and I thought to use the bottles
both as flower vases and candle holders. This DIY was really quick fixed party decoration which is good because I´m going to make many! 
The only thing you need is empty bottles and a cotton thread, my bottles comes from IKEA. Just twist the thread around a bottle several 
times and your done!

DIY /// CHARCOAL MOBILE

I guest blogged for a week ago with my DIY feature "try this at home" on the best Emma's design blog and this time I used my 
            favorite material which is right now pitch black charcoal. So here comes the DIY  hanging charcoal mobile in replay!                

You need:

• charcoal
• nylon thread
• black tape
• scissors

Start making a sketch in your head. I did that myself and tested my way through.Cut several pieces of black tape so you can 

use them when working fast. I stopped when the shape felt a bit unfinished because I did not want it to get too round or 
triangular, instead I wanted a geometric form that changes depending on how it hangs and from what angle you're looking at it. 

And finally tie a nylon thread to it and tape several charcoal crayons onto the thread 
and your´e ready! It looks good against a window or to create contrasts, against a white wall, or as a lampshade!

DIY/// WALLPAPER

 I flipped through my Acne Paper and weekday catalog yesterday and I´m so impressed by all the stunning fashion 

pictures in these magazines! Every page and fashion picture looks like piece of art and are so inspiring! Now I just want 

to cover my wall with these pages like a wallpaper, or wrapp small presents or boxes with them. 

DIY // CHAIR WITH A TWIST

I've done some DIY again and this time to my old chair. The chair got some twist with this minimalistic expression and it was incredibly easy to make. Here are the instructions! You need:

*scissors

*carpet yarn

*a chair

*staple gun

Twist the carpet yarn around the chair until you find a pattern you like, this was the pattern I liked.

 Attach the yarn around the chair with staple gun. Done!

DIY // BLACK

Hello! I hope you are enjoying your weekend :) Today I post new pics about my favorite DIY -wooden hanger that I did 

when I was guestblogging at Emmas designblogg. I have painted the wooden hanger now black. I think it was really nice as 

natural too, but the black colour does that everything looks more dramatic! I like that:) By the way, my home paige is

DIY LAMPSHADE

Yesterday when I had some time over I decided to do a DIY that I´ve been thinking to do for a long time. 

Transform a large plastic bag into a lampshade. Ever since I saw the wonderful lamp of Mark eden Schooley  

I have wanted to do something like that myself. But instead of using fabric I used a large white plastic bag, 

the suspension system is made of thin steel wire. 

DIY X3

I love it when you can use one thing in several different ways, like this ordinary vase that can appear in 

these three ways in my home. As a pen storage, filled with lots and lots of pens and other stuff or..

 as a transparent pot where I put in my favorite plant cactus.

Or when you tape a picture inside it will become an different photo frame.

DIY LETTERS

I really like letters as a decoration so here comes one more way to write letters on the wall!

 This time I used with my flower support sticks that became an A on the wall. Lucky me that 
the letter A is so simple to shape :) I used regular tape to attach the sticks, because it leaves no 
ugly marks and the tape is easy to remove. 

DIY UPSIDE DOWN HANGER

I fell directly for this DIY upside down hanger when I saw it here. It was so easy to do, I love it!

Testade direkt att göra den själv. Den här går under kategorin, roliga och snabba DIY´S!

CHESSBOARD WALL

Hemma igen från Sälen, nu känner jag mig lite mera utvilad och gladare än för en vecka sen :) Jag har fått 

flera frågor vad är det för material jag har använt i mina gör det själv tips (diy;s) som jag gjorde bla. här och det 

heter Alkor kontaktpapper eller kontaktvinyl. Jag brukar köpa mina rullar från Colorama, men

 kontaktpapper finns också på hobbyaffärer i många olika färger och mönster. Mitt senaste påhitt med 

kontaktpappret var att göra ett schackmönster på vår sovrumsvägg som kändes väldigt tom. Resultatet blev ett 

smycke som gav det där lilla extra för en tom vitvägg, för en ringa kostnad på 15 kr. Ha en fortsatt fin helg! Kram

translation; I´m Home again from a lovely skiing vacation. I have received several questions what kind of material 

I've used in my DIY,s like here and it's called Alkor contact paper. I usually buy my rolls from a color store´s, but the 

contact paper is also available at hobby shops in lots of different colors and patterns. My latest contact paper 

experiment was to add a chessboard pattern on our bedroom wall that felt very empty. The result gave that little a 

extra to a whitewall that was blank before. For a modest charge of 15 SEK. Happy weekend!

CLOTHING RACK DIY

Jag var bara tvungen att dela med er den här kopparrör klädhängaren direkt där jag såg den. Du behöver ett rör, 

två krokar och en stållina. För linan genom röret och häng upp den i taket och du är redo! Enkelt, genialt och så snyggt.

I just had to share this clothing rack with you directly when I saw it here! You´ll need

 a tube, two hooks and a metal cable. Put the cable through the tube and hang it 

onto the ceiling and you´re ready! I love the simplicity and that is copper tube.

IKEA DIY

BEDROOM MAKEOVER

När jag är ute och fotar andras hem så kan jag bli så otroligt inspirerad!
Vi i Sverige har verkligen hög standard när det gäller inredning och det ska vi vara
stolta över! Jag håller på och fixar lite i vårt sovrum igen, det blir bla. en lite galen grej som
en slags rumsdekor. Svårt att förklara men jag återkommer med bilder när det är färdigt!

OLD CRAFT POWER

Jag har alltid beundrat genuint gammalt hantverk, speciellt det tålamodet som ofta finns bakom 
virkade spetsdukar. Bara tanken att någon har suttit och virkat med omsorg en duk flera timmar 
känns så fint... Jag ville göra något av dessa fina dukar som jag har så många av hemma, så jag 
sydde ihop dukarna till en bordslöpare, på loppisar kan ofta hitta virkade spetsdukar för en billig peng!
 I dag finns jag och gästbloggar hos Emmas designblogg där kan se en till enkel projekt, 
mitt nya hemma smycke :) Vi ses där!

I have always admired the genuine old craft, especially the patience that often is behind
crocheted lace tablecloths. Just the thought, that someone has been sitting and crocheting with
 care a table cloth for hours, feels so nice... I wanted to do something with them, so I sewed 
crocheted tableclothes to a table runner. At flea markets you can find crocheted tablecloths for
